Create a Process
Processes represent locations that "pull" material from other locations. Processes are optional.
- In the Setup Schedule > Locations tab, drag the Process icon to the 2D Canvas.
- In the Name field on the Location Properties pane, type a name for the process.
- Complete the Process rates data grid for the process.
- Click the Process factors tab and complete the Process factors data grid for the process.
- If you want to change the image that is displayed for the process in the 2D Canvas, right-click the process image in the Location Properties pane and click Load custom image...
- Select, the image you want to display for the process and click Open.
A new process is displayed in the 2D Canvas.
The Choose an image form appears.
The new image is displayed in the 2D Canvas.
Tip: You can quickly create multiple processes by holding CTRL, selecting the process icon in the Locations pane, then clicking in the 2D Canvas the same number of times as the number of processes you want to create.
